Government Shutdown Update:
Based on government resolution approved through 30 January 2026, the Government Shutdown Relief Loan is offline. We will monitor the situation and reopen the application in January 2026, if necessary. We will continue to HOLD all approved applications and reactivate them if necessary - you will not need to reapply.
Hurricane Melissa Update: We continue to support those directly impacted or on approved emergency travel.
Army Emergency Relief is aware that financial hardships don't always follow a predictable course. If you're facing a valid financial hardship, we encourage you to submit an online request with details about your situation. An AER Officer will personally review your request and reach out to discuss how we can help.
